Ponca City Herb Festival

It is kick-off time again for the Ponca City Herb Festival. This year's festival will be on Saturday, June 7th, 2008, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Cann Gardens, S. 14th St. and E. Grand Ave., Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Vendors may check in Friday, June 6th, after 11:00 a.m. or Saturday, June 7th, after 6:00 a.m. Security is provided overnight on the grounds Friday.

We do not charge for booth space but we do require 15% of vendor gross sales on Saturday, to be paid at check out on Saturday evening. Our spaces have a 10-foot frontage, with varying depth depending upon where you are placed in the gardens. Booth spaces on the outside of the sidewalk have the greatest depth. Access to electricity is limited to food vendors.

The Festival Hospitality Committee will provide free drinks and snacks to vendors. "Booth Sitters" are available on Saturday if needed.

There are some rules for the Cann Gardens we are required to follow:

1. Because of the in-ground sprinkler system, we are not allowed to drive stakes into the ground. Please use cement blocks or sandbags to secure canopies.

2. Vehicles may not be driven onto the grounds. You must unload and load from the street. The Festival Volunteer Committee will have people available to assist you both days.

3. The day of the festival, skateboards, bicycles, scooters and dogs (other than service dogs) will not be allowed on the grounds.

Submitting a Ponca City Herb Festival application indicates you understand and agree to all regulations and guidelines outlined. The Ponca City Herb Festival reserves the right to make changes to regulations.
